To say that TheFortCity.comÔÇÖs Healthy and Yummy Food Campaign was a success is an understatement. It was overwhelming to see that all the people involved worked harmoniously together to execute an event that aims to educate and inspire people to eat healthy and live healthy.
Throughout the four days of the event, 15-18 October, panel boards were displayed, which contained information about healthy food such as trivia on trendy and healthy ingredients, lifestyle diets, a map of healthy dine-in places and fitness centers in BGC, and many more. A lot of people stopped by to read the panel boards and were quite piqued with the content. Some read one or two panels, some read half, and quite a number of them took their time to read all the panel boards.

The second and third days were more fun filled because there were merchants and sponsors who livened up the event.
Attracted by the beautifully styled and well-stocked event booths and displays, many visitors were ready to shop.
The merchants invited were Turmicap, BM Honey, Coco Green, JALees Farms, Homegrown Organics and Sap Juicery. Each had their own variety of healthy food to offer to the event goers.

To spice up the event a bit more, TheFortCity.com prepared a program that comprised a series of talks and discussions by Dipdenza Coffee, Beyond Yoga Serendra and Coco Green, as well as a comedy segment featuring two prime stand-up comedians from Comedy Cartel.

Francis H. Garcia of Dipdenza Coffee discussed the basic facts about coffee.
Michelle Cosay, yoga teacher at Beyond Yoga Serendra, talked about the basic principles
of yoga. She also entertained questions from curious audience members.
Ms. Weizel Gulfan, Managing Partner of Coco Green, also a certified plant-based
nutritionist and editor, shared her thoughts on the topic,┬áÔÇ£Food as Medicine.ÔÇØ
Panel discussion on the topic, ÔÇ£Why People DonÔÇÖt Eat Healthy?ÔÇØ┬áMr. Ray Squires,┬áMs. Weizel
Gulfan and Mr. Sherwin Cunanan participated and shared their thoughts on the topic.
Comedians Chip Balbuena and Sherwin Cunanan tickled the audienceÔÇÖs┬á
funny bones as they delivered their signature jokes.
Aside from the program being an attraction in the event, TheFortCity.com also launched the CleanAirBGC effort, which aimed to encourage BGC and McKinley Hill citizens to play their part in cleaning and reducing the air pollutants.
Event goers were encouraged to write their thoughts on how they can help clean the air we breathe.
Upon registering, event goers enjoyed coupons from Jamba Juice and Dipdenza, and earned a chance to win raffle prizes from Beyond Yoga Serendra, Treston Health Club, Sap Juicery (Fruit Magic), and Dipdenza Coffee.

Participants young and old enjoyed snapping some photos using our Instagram prop.

The rain on Friday and Saturday morning did not stop the customers………….
Unfortunately, the heavy rain on Saturday night deterred many would-be visitors to the event.
