Unfortunately, Passion Boulangerie at the Net Park, Atelier Vivanda at Forbestown Road and Le Jardin at W Building at 5th have closed since then. Passion Boulangerie’s location is now occupied by Vatos, a Korean-tacos place, while Le Jarden has rebranded as James and Daughters at 21st Drive. Another French restaurant, not featured here, L’Aubergine at 5th and 32nd building, one of the earliest fine-dining restaurants in the Fort, has also closed. In the mean time, many Latino restaurants like Alegria, Naxional have opened. A rotation of taste, maybe?]

Paul BoulangerieSM Aura and Bench Tower It is a French bakery that also serves meals. It has a decent selection of pastries, mainly made with flaky pastries, such as plain croissants, chocolate croissants and pastries with other fillings. Its pastries are priced from P80 per piece, while a chicken sandwich costs P240. |

Atelier VivandaBurgos Circle This newly opened fine-dining French restaurant is a place for beef imported from France. Its main fame comes from the head chef and co-owner, who is a Michelin 2-star chef, named Akrame Benallal. It is a place you go to for special occasions. Its 50-day dry-aged Holstein beef steak costs a whopping P7,500. |

Le JardinPenthouse, W Fifth Avenue Building, 5th Avenue Corner 32nd Street Le Jardin is a fine-dining restaurant hidden in the penthouse of an office building. Because of building regulations, you will not see its sign at the ground floor or any where outside the building. Recently (in 2016), they have opened a small coffee stall at the ground floor lobby, so it is a good way to increase its visibility and help to sustain the business. You can get your fill of goose or duck liver, truffle, snails and scallops, presented in degustation style, in this garden-themed restaurant. |
