Top choices:
Kiji
Verve Residences 1, 26th St
French butter! Very buttery and crispy. This is our number one choice for butter croissant, and it only costs P110 per piece, which is not cheap as a pastry, but cheaper than a few others on this list. There is not much of a sitting down place to enjoy your croissant, so be sure to go there at off peak hours.
Cafe by Dolci
basement of Mitshukoshi Mall, 8th Avenue
Their croissants taste insanely good. We even bought a few to freeze at home, and they became crispy again after getting reheat in our oven. This is also our top croissant choices.
Makers and Made, 5th Avenue, Milestone at 5th, 5th Avenue
This cafe / bakery is a little bit out of the way, yet it has some loyal following. Its croissant tastes and smells very buttery, very crispy. P180, expensive. Nice ambience. Tea is especially good, real loose leaf or chamomile flowers.
Masa Bakehouse
The Montane 8th Avenue, cor 35th St
Croissant well shaped and tastes buttery, crispy outside soft inside. P140 each. Very good latte (P140).
Lartizan
Serendra Piazza, 26th Street (facing MarketMarket Mall)
Lartizan has pretty good croissant, and their branch at Serendra Piazza is very classy. Croissant is reasonably priced at P105.
Bake House Manila
Shangri La the Fort, 30th Street, corner 5th Ave
Butter croissant at P90 each in a hotel cafe! It beats all others in this list for value. It has a good size, although it is not as crispy as the Kiji or Dolci ones.
Baker J
2 Parkade, 30th Street corner 7th Ave
Butter Croissant at P130 is reasonably priced. This is the best dine-in place for your breakfast. It is spacious and mostly quiet.
