If your kid is six years old or under, he or she will love this new place, which opened last Saturday at the 3rd floor (near the cinemas) new mall of Uptown Mall at 38th Street, between 9th and 11th Avenue, Fort Bonifacio. For kids over 6 and below 10 years old, there are still some things that they can play with if they are creative.
The play area is very open, so parents can see almost everything going on inside. The entrance fee is reasonable, P300 for first 90 mins and P400 for 3 hours, considering the place and toys are brand new.
Getting inside is like going to other play areas. Parents or guardian have to fill up a form and everyone inside has to wear socks. However, unlike other play areas Kidzoona requires at least one parent or guardian to go inside with the child, although admission is free for the first accompanying adult.
Befittng a Japanese brand, everything inside is neat and clean. Free shoe lockers are provided and there is a comfortable sittng area for parents or guardians.
There is a big area for active play which is filled with soft plastc balls. Kids can climb and jump freely, exercising their gross motor skillls while playng in a very comfortable and safe environment.
Then there is the role playng area where there are several stalls for young kids to do pretend play. Not a lot of costume was available though.
There is also a small bouncy castle for small kids.
Older children can play with the giant buildng blocks,  do the dance machine or use the educational toys like magnetized blocks to build something.
There is an area for activities suitable for building fine motor skills. See photo below.
The favorite for older kids is of course the cyber wheels:
