Savage
The Plaza at Arya Residences, McKinley Parkway, BGC, Fort Bonifacio
This restaurant actually has opened for a couple of months, but since its location, in the secluded The Plaza at Arya Residences, is not well known, we thought it may still worth introducing.
Savage serves grilled meat dishes in a modern casual environment. We tried its cured duck breast (P340), grilled 1/2 chicken (P520), beef flank (P1,200) and lamb chops (P1,550). The cooking is good, but the portion is between solo and sharing, not enough for sharing as they claimed.
Wonder Bowl
Globe Tower, 32nd Street, BGC, Fort Bonifacio
Wonder Bowl is situated at where Hungry Hound + Niner Ichi Nana used to be. It is a spinoff of Nagi ramen, so there are more ramen dishes than those offered at Nagi ramen, and many more non ramen dishes.
Fat Fook Kitchen
Globe Tower, 32nd Street, BGC, Fort Bonifacio
Fat Fook Kitchen, a Taiwanese casual restaurant, is located next to Wonder Bowl. There are several branches of Fat Fook Kitchen in Metro Manila. They serve well known Taiwanese street food such as Xiaolongbao and beef noodle soup, and Fujianese dishes that are popular in Taiwan, such as oyster omelette and fried oily noodle.
Steak the First
Ground Floor, Net Park Building, 4th Avenue, BGC, Fort Bonifacio
Even though there are so many restaurants that offer premium Japanese steak in the Fort, this restaurant may still have its own fans. Occupying the shop space that previously was Grind Bistro and Cafe, Steak the First at the Net Park has a 50% lunch promo that runs only up to December 10. So hurry and try it!
