When you see a long line outside a store in Bonifacio High Street, it is usually for either a trendy new drink store, or a new sneaker launch. Last August 17, 2019, it was the launch of Nike’s Kyrie 5 Spongebob series at its Bonifacio High Street shop. On March 16, 2019, it was the launch of Adidas’ YEEZY Boost 350 V2 at their 5th Avenue store. (on Aug 20, 2019, Puma’s Selena Gomez collection was launched at Puma Select at G/F of Uptown Mall.)

While a new milk drink costs under P200, a pair of new sneakers can cost above P11,000, and still you have to line up two days for one pair! Such is the enthusiasm for certain models of sneakers.

For you sneaker fans, we have done some research on where you can get your favorite shoes in the Fort. They may not be the newest hot sneakers, but we have identified the most reviewed and highly rated shoes in RunRepeat.com, a top athletic shoe review website, and looked for them in the Fort. While some models are not available in the Philippines, there are still a lot of good finds. Check them out below.

Adidas NMD_R1

These shoes are praised for its stylish design and comfort. It has the throwback feel yet the style is modern.

Adidas Swift Run

Comfortable and light weight are the reasons that people purchase these shoes for casual wear. This low top shoe brings a sock-like fit to the user and provides a good accommodation for those with wide foot. They can be found at Adidas Originals Store at Bonifacio High Street, Adidas NJE in Uptown Mall and Adidas – Fort Home Court (30th St Cor 7th Ave Two Parkade) for P5,000. Also you can get it from Capital PH in Uptown Mall for P4,800.

Adidas Superstar 80s

Whether it is the Superstar or Superstar 80, users like the consistent looks from the 1980s and an updated comfort from the soft leather lining.

Superstar 80 is available from Adidas Originals Store – High Street for P4800 to P7000, while Superstar is available from both the High Street Store and the Adidas store at Two Parkade.

Nike AirMax 270

Buyers like the style of the shoe, as well as the comfort. The large range of color combinations (“colorway”) is also a reason for its popularity.

Nike AF1 Low

People like this model for the value and performance. For a comfortable all day shoe, they say the price point is more than reasonable. It is available at Nike Park (G/F B3 Bonifacio High Street, 9th Ave) for P5,295 and at Capital PH in Uptown Mall for P4,795.

Puma TSUGI NETFIT

These Japanese designed and German made shoes are liked for the look and durability. Many also like the extra laces provided which allow them to customize the shoes. They are available at Puma Bonifacio High Street for P5,190.

New Balance 990

First released in 1992 as one of the most expensive shoes for the whole footwear market, the New Balance 990 was poised to make a statement well before anyone laced it up and hit the sidewalk. Available at the New Balance shop at B1 Bonifacio High Street, Taguig City for P11,995.

Nike AF1 07 LV8 Style

The men’s Nike Air Force 1 ’07 LV8 Style is a revamped iteration of the original 1982 hoops-inspired kicks.Its eye-catching colorways, stylish aesthetic and high quality materials have garnered praises from sneakers’ longtime fans and even from those casual buyers. It is comfortable and looks great casual clothings. You can get this at Capital PH in Uptown Mall for P4,995.

Adidas N-5932

Its breathable and lightweight facets with its familiar vintage look surely brings a refreshed retro charm. Finding this kicks is not easy, but fortunately, you can grab one at Capital PH in Uptown Mall for P6,500.
