Where to get RT-PCR COVID test in BGC

We are in ECQ now, so there is no traveling to any where. But when we are allowed to travel, many travel destinations are likely to still require COVID-19 test results. Our earlier article provides information on where to get COVID-19 Antigen tests. Below is our research result on COVID-19 RT-PCR tests.

Note that the time it takes to have result may be longer than what the test centers advertise, especially before a public holiday, as the test centers often have difficulty in coping with a surge in demand. The trouble is, of course, the test is supposed to be done not earlier than 72 hours of travel. It is not easy to travel these days.

Red Cross offers the only approved saliva RT-PCR test, and it is much cheaper than the RT-PCR nose swab test. Advance appointment is required. The cost is P2,090 per head. Results are supposed to come back in 24 hours.

We tried this test for three persons ourselves. Two results came back in 30 hours, and one person was asked to do retesting, and we do not know why. Since we are in ECQ, and cannot go anywhere, he did not bother to go back to do retesting.

Fort Bonifacio Health Center

Free testing is offered once a week at the Fort Bonifacio Barangay Health Center, which is located near Beacon International School. As regards the free drive-through center, we do not know exactly where it is even browsing the www.taguiginfo.com website, but someone has suggested that it is at or near the SavePoint Plus drive through center along 31st street near Ore Central and 9th Avenue.
