Since the pandemic, Work-from-home has become necessary. But boy, are we tired of it. A good work-away-from-home place should be spacious, has power outlets and preferably provides free wi-fi, although nowadays it is better to use our own wi-fi hotspot for security reason. Let us start with the newest places first.

The Fat Seed Roastery + Cafe

G/F., The Maridien Tower 1, 27th Street (next to a park called Terra 28).

This new place scores high on ambience as the interior design is modern and it faces the Terra 28 Park, so it feels very relaxing. It has a few power outlets. It opens at 10AM, and currently closes at 6PM because it is on a dry run.

El Jardin de Manila

High Street South Corporate Plaza Tower 2, near 11th Avenue and Two Serendra

This is another new cafe that faces a park, a new park behind High Street South Block with entrance at 11th Avenue, thus is quiet. But it is not very big inside. Also, you may need to bring your own spare battery for your laptop.

UCC Terrace

Burgos Park, Forbestown Road

This cafe used to be located at the end of Forbestown Road and it was sorely missed when it closed a year ago. The new location is still in a quiet area, and has a small open space outside called Burgos Park.

Starbucks Coffee: (1) 32nd Street Cross Road (2) Arya Plaza (3) The Finance Center at 26th Street

These Starbucks are not too busy a lot of times, and are spacious. The advantage of Starbucks Coffee is that it provides plenty of power outlets. The Starbucks at 32nd Street, near MC Homes, is the most spacious Starbucks in BGC as it has a big second floor.

The Coffee Project

21st Drive, GF Vista Hub

This cafe is very spacious inside, super Instagramable, and big enough to have several pocket spaces for different groups of people to sit together. It also has small tables for those who want to be alone.

Bo’s Coffee and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at┬áBonifacio High Street

These coffee shops have a loft, so you can be hidden from prying eyes during weekdays when they are not too crowded.

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

Burgos Circle

The oldest cafe amongst all cafes listed here, this one has a second floor that not only has a lot of tables, but also a view of Burgos Circle. It has a decent number of power outlets.
